Melbourne Cup!

I would have to say Melbourne Cup is probably my second favourite day of the year, after Christmas that is. Every year we celebrate in our own way! A huge focus is always placed on food 🙂 As for the fashion? No hats I am afraid, but as long as my dress has pockets to keep my betting slips in, I am happy!

This year was all about share platters – inspired by the latest season of Great Brittish Menu possibly haha! Great day, great company and I had 2 x 1st and a 2nd … not a bad effort!
