We woke to the sound of rain pouring down.
BLISS! I knowwwww… We are staying at a pool resort by the beach … and for some this would be devastating – Especially so, considering this is our only day here .. but for Chris and I, this couldn’t be any better!
The rest of the week is predicted to be 28 and sunny .. and we got a stormy day. How lucky are we??
The lightening struck down so frequently that capturing it was too easy! and it was something amazing to watch!
Pool area was completely abandoned too!
We headed to breakfast and requested a table outside in the elements. The staff were all apologetic for the weather but Chris and I had huge smiles on our faces and told them, “the weather couldn’t be any better”
The included buffet breakfast at this place is INSANE!! Wow, wow wow!
I ate so much my gut ached most of the day! Safe to say, lunch isn’t necessary today!
The rain slowed and we decided to jump in the pool! It didn’t take long for the clouds to roll back in, the rain to pour down and for the lightening to return!!
Chris managed this incredible capture in his second shot!! We had no idea until we were back in the room, I was relaxing in a hot bath and saw what he managed to get .. what a legend!!
After my bath, the weather cleared up really well! So we grabbed our books and headed down to the beach beds to read and nap in the sunshine!
Sun is setting on our last day here, and after a day of storms, the clouds turned it on for us!
The buffet was so good for breakfast, we decided to try it for dinner! Another winner!
I mean .. guys … Look at these desserts!!
