A little time in Paros.

Today we needed to leave paradise (Astra Suites, Santorini) and honestly, I am not stoked about it, however, all good things must end.

We checked out at 12pm and had an hour to chill before our arranged transfer to the port .. so of course, the pool was the place.

Being another “transit” day which normally sucks, we prepared ourselves, however .. it was EASY! simple transfer, simple (and plush) ferry ride! and a very quick walk to our next hotel.

Tonight we are staying at the Argonauta Hotel, Paros – I have stayed here before too, and being so close to the port, it was a no brainer.

We got in at about 5pm. Set our bags down and headed out to see what we can eat. The vibe here is so chilled compared to every we have been so far! and Chris LOVES it here! He said it’s the prettiest island so far!

There are lots of relaxed waterside restaurants, so we picked one with a desirable menu out front and settled in to eat at sunset.

We ordered the saganaki (fried cheese) fries, fried baby shrimp + spaghetti for Chris! With a couple colas and a 500ml house white, yes pleaseeee!

There were cute cats everywhere .. and they were professionals at conning the diners into feeding them .. yes .. I was one of the suckers that fed them too .. and I don’t even like cats normally.

The sun has set on our night in Paros .. we walked the streets and I am blown away with how much there is here! I remember not thinking much of Paros last time I was here, however, I had SO many things planned with the tour group .. I think Paros town got neglected. It is a beautiful place to visit, and far less overrun with tourists!!
